Kursus ini menyediakan rangkuman secara komprehensif teknologi termokimia semasa yang sedang dijalankan atau dikaji di dalam rawatan dan pemulihan bahan sisa dan biojisim seperti pembakaran, pirolisis, pengegasan, torefaksi, pencairan hidroterma dan karbonisasi . Ia memberi kefahaman terhadap asas teknologi ini di samping menawarkan maklumat yang berguna terhadap reka bentuk, operasi dan produk teknologi ini (reka bentuk dan kecekapan proses, parameter operasi, pertimbangan teknikal, pengedaran dan komposisi produk).
This course provides a comprehensive summary of current thermochemical technologies being carried out or studied in the treatment and recovery of waste materials and biomass such as combustion, pyrolysis, gasification, torefaction, hydrothermal and carbonization. It gives an understanding of the basics of these technologies while offering useful information on the design, operation and products of these technologies (process design and efficiency, operating parameters, technical considerations, distribution and product composition).
