This course provides an introduction to fisheries biotechnology, principles of biotechnology and biotechnology development in fisheries. This course will explain the application of biotechnology in taxonomy classification and population study and fisheries resource management. This course will also explain the application of biotechnology in bioactive compound discovery in aquatic organism. This course will also discuss the current issues and future trends in fisheries biotechnology.
