This course explains the concept of natural selection and its role in the evolution of organismal change over time and environmental adaptation. Exposures are given on the interaction between the organism and its environment that results in biodiversity, which can be systematically classified in managing and conserving its resources. Also discussed is the modern approach in conserving and exploiting the genetic resources using various technologies for resource sustainability and human's consumption.
