This course is required to provide an initial exposure to students in conducting a scientific study including proposal, thesis and report writing. In addition, this course also gives basic information about elements in experimental design in research before embarking the Final Year Scientific Project course in semester six, as well as preparation for postgraduate studies. Topics covered include experimental design, data analysis and reporting.
